You can persue B.tech by taking entry through lateral entry. You will get admission in 2nd year of engineering.  It is a good course for you. It has good scope in the future.

You may also explore AMIE programs. AMIE (Associate membership of Institution of Engineers) program is equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. The program is conducted by Institution of Engineers India Limited (IEIL). Like any other engineering degree an associate member of Institution of Engineers can appear in examinations like Civil Services, Indian Engineering Services, GATE, GRE, etc. A candidate with AMIE certificate is eligible to pursue Master's Degree in Engineering/MBA.

You may prepare for JE exams such as RRB JE.
