What if a person applying in stream 1 for sastra failed in mains. Will they take his mains mark or not?

Since SASTRA University takes admission through JEE Mains scores, so one has to clear the cutoff as per their category inorder to get admission. Below I have provided 2019 JEE Mains cutoff category  wise -

• CRL : 89.75
• GEN-EWS : 78.21
• OBC-NCL : 74.31
• SC : 54.01
• ST : 44.33
• PwD : 0.11

Now SASTRA takes admission through two streams.

• Stream 1 : Candidates having qualified JEE Mains and their 10+2 scores will be evaluated and on the basis of that 70% seats will be filled.
• Stream 2 : The 30% seats will be filled on the basis of 10+2 or equivalent marks of the candidates.

Now to answer your question, if a person fails in mains then he will be not able to get a seat through stream 1. He can apply for stream 2 to get a seat.
