In that case higher percentile of the two exam would be considered.

Hello
From this year jee is giving 2 chance in a year ( i.e January and in April ) and rank will be based on the percentile score.
And out of these two ( January and April exam percentile ) ; high percentile will be considered for the final ranking.
This April exam is a chance for you to improve your score.
Otherwise if someone will not be able to improve than the January exam percentile will be taken into consideration .
Good luck
