What if my dad is in Army, can I attach the income certificate given from the higher authority or it is compulsory to get the one from Emitra for registration in colleges?

Hello,
Income certificate must be attested by the tahsildar of your locality so you can attest it that would be helpful. Else make an income certificate from the tahsildar office or from lokseva Kendra of your locality and make it attested from tahsildar.
It is better to make new one to avoid any issue in counseling and admission process.

but I am presently not in my hometown so its a problem for me to get it done from the tahsildar

visit your hometown when transportation facilities start. counseling will start in month of August... so you have one month time in your hand. it will take 2-3 days to make income certificate.
