When you apply to any University the basic criteria that is to be fulfilled is the minimum number or percentage of marks required or quivalent as mentioned in the prospectus uploaded by the University in their official website. If you do not have that minimum marks that is mentioned in the criteria then your good rank also does not count and you are not eligible for admission.
