Hi, Out of 2 you can find much scope in law than BA Hons History. Though options you can find good after BA Hons but LAW directly can be the best if pursued with passion and interest.
Under BA Hons History you can study topics on history of India, Languages, History of other countries as well.

Under BALLB:
You will study about Legal methods, History, Contracts, Pol science, Economics, Constitutional Laws etc.
