What is a gap certificate? Do I need to provide a gap certificate if I got comparment in class 12th and 1 year later??

If you take some academic year gap before the admission in any college, then you may have to submit the gap certificate. Now as you have compartment, you may not have to submit the gap certificate. The Gap certificate is asked from those who have take a year or more gap between the 10+2 examination and the admission to any college.
