What is BBA ? Is there any relation between BBA & MBA ?
Hi Amrutha,
BBA, is a 3 years Under graduate management course.
The course is a combination of practicals as well as theory.
So mostly it would be an interactive study format with lots
and lots of presentations which may be either in a group or
individual. Also during the course there would be industry
internships which is an integral part of the course.
After the course, you could be employed in any
organization but in an entry level job.
To move up the ladder, you would have to clear
your MBA in either HR, Finance or Marketing.
Some of the esteemed job profiles you can attain
after a successful completion of BBA are:
Finance Manager
Business Administration Researcher
Human Resource Manager
Research and Development Manager
Business Consultant
Information Systems Manager
Marketing Manager
Relation between MBA and BBA is just that , you are more aware about the business knowledge than a engineering student or any other students who has pursued their bachelor's degree in a field other than business adminstration.
But this doesnt guarentee you a better placement than any other student from a different background. You will have to work hard equally as the other person to differtiate yourself from others.
Because the job requirements of the company have been changing and you have to make sure that you have it in you what is needed by the company.
