Hi Aspirant,
To study applied chemistry you need to understand the basics first and then define your problem.Once you have defined and categorize the problem try learning about them from the books that i will mention below.Applied chemistry requires lot of patience and a concentrative mind is crucial.After doing this you can then move on in the reasearch design.
