what is biochemistry explain for type
Dear student,
Biochemistry is the study of chemistry processes that sustain life. It is a combination of both life sciences and chemical sciences. In biochemistry, we mainly discuss about derivatives of Four types of molecules, namely:-
- Lipids
- Proteins
- Carbohydrates
- Nucleic Acids
I hope that answers your question. Due to the ambiguity of the question asked, I have discussed about four types of molecules. Please clarify your question in case I have comprehended you incorrectly. Please don't hesitate to follow up!
Cheers!
Hello,
Biochemistry is the study of chemical processes within and relating to the living organisms. Biochemistry is the sub branch of both Biology and Chemistry and includes three main disciplines, namely, molecular genetics, protein science and metabolism.
Biochemistry broadly deals with the structures, functions and and interactions of biological macromolecules such as proteins, lipids, nucleic acids and carbohydrates, which provide structure to the cell and perform many function associated with life. The chemistry of the cell also depends upon the reactions of small molecules and ions present in the living organism. The reactions can be organic and inorganic.
Best Wishes.
