what is bond in college after neet ug
Hello Aspirant,
According to the government resolutions, bond service is mandatory for the student who has taken the admission within stipulated time. Different states have different conditions of signing the bond. Not signing the bond means you are not bonded and are not eligible for appearing for exams of the college.
For example, the bond service in Maharashtra states that the you are required to serve the government for a period of one year, failing which you have to pay non-refundable penalty. Even an undertaking is signed stating that the person should not leave the country for a duration of time till they obtain their degree.
Different states have different bond service requirements.
Please do mention your state name so that I can correctly tell you about your state's bond service.
All the best!
Hope you are doing well
Basically two types of bonds are their:
-
Service bond-----> You have to serve in the rural areas of that particular state till the bond period, otherwise you will have to pay bond
-
Seat leaving bond: If you leave the Medical seat in between the course then you have to pay the bond.
Different colleges in India have different bond amount, to be more precise different states have different bond money and also service bond duration.
So you should tell about which state's college you are targeting, then I will be to able to tell about it's bond status.
For example: Uttar Pradesh have a bond of 2 years service and bond to be paid is 10 lakhs.
But it does not have any seat leaving bond .
