Cartilage is a firm tissue which is softer and flexible than a bone. It is a kind of connective tissue which further helps in joining the bones of various parts in our body. The cartilage which joint ends of the ribs in a rib cage in order to provide elasticity to the walls of the thorax , that is referred to as the cartilage of the rib.
And, moving on to the cartilage joint, these are the joints where the bones are joined or connected through the cartilage, only, that can be any kind of cartilage, either hyaline cartilage or fibrocartilage.
