Cesa not "CSAB" and josa not "JoSAA".
Both are the bodies managed under MHRD to allocate a seat to students who passed JEE MAINS or JEE ADVANCED or both. The differences are:
1. JoSAA allocate a seat from IITs/NITs/IIITs/GFTIs while CSAB allocate a seat from NITs/iiits/GFTIs/SFTIs.
2. Firstly JoSAA conducts seat allocation then after finishing JoSAA process, on the remaining seats of of NITs/IIITs/GFTIs CSAB conducts seat allocation and for seats of SFTIs.
3. JoSAA = CSAB + JAC
CSAB = CSAB
Abbreviations used:
JoSAA : Joint Seat Allocation Authority
CSAB : Central Seat Allocation Board
JAC : Joint Admission Counselling
IIT : Indian Institute of Technology
NIT : National Institute of Technology
IIIT : Indian Institute of Information Technology
GFTI : Government Funded Technical Institute
SFTI : Self Funded Technical Institute
