what is chloroplst please tell me?
Chloroplasts are the green coloured pigments present in leaves of plants which imparts green colour to it and helps in carrying out the most important and vital process of food making of plants known as photosynthesis. Chloroplasts converts the light energy of sun into sugars and store it in the form of ATP energy( Adenosine triphosphate).
hello!!
Chloroplasts are organelles that conduct photosynthesis, where the photosynthetic pigment chlorophyll captures the energy from sunlight, converts it, and stores it in the energy-storage molecules ATP and NADPH while freeing oxygen from water in plant and algal cells. They then use the ATP and NADPH to make organic molecules from carbon.
thanks
