It is a type of hemolytic anemia in the fetus caused by the transplacental transmission of maternal antibodies to fatal red blood cells.Generally this disorder is caused by RHO(D) antigens and results from fetal and maternal blood groups.Children having symptoms of swollen,pale, or jaundiced after birth may face this hemolytic anemia.
