- Candidates applying for IAS Exam must hold a Graduation degree in any discipline from any recognized University.
- Candidate must be more than 21 years of age and the upper limit for age is 32 years for general candidates
- For IAS and IPS, applicants must be a citizen of India.
- Applicants must hold a graduate degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university
- Only six attempts are allowed for a candidate to clear IAS Exam 2019.
