To avail the reservation for the EWS category, there are few criteria that you have to satisfy. These are mentioned below-
If you meet all these criteria, you can apply for EWS reservation.
- You must be a general category candidate. Candidates from any other category are not eligible for reservation.
- Your family's net annual income from all sources must below Rs. 8 lakhs.
- Your family should not own any agricultural land of 5 acres or more.
- Your family should not own a residential flat of area 1000 square feet or more.
- Your family should not own any residential plot in notified municipality area of 100 square yards or more than this.
- Your family should not own any residential plot other than in notified municipality area of 200 square yards or more than this.
If you meet all these criteria, you can apply for EWS reservation.
