There are two branches under Indian Air Force Administration
- Air Traffic Controller: Which Involves maintaining an orderly flow of traffic and airspace management.
- Fighter Controller: To perform the job of directing Fighter Aircraft and Weapon Systems against enemy in various Air Operations while ensuring Air Defence of the nation using Radar Networks.
In IAF Administration the candidates are selected under Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission. If it is Permanent Commission the candidate can work until the retirement. If it is Short Service Commission the applicant will serve IAF for duration of 10 years and it will be extended up to 4 years depending on the performance, medical fitness and vacancies. The starting for a Commissioned officer in Administration Branch is Rs. 56,100 and it will increase with the rank and the number of years in service.
