Every college or institute has a fixed number of seats (say 20% or 25%) which are not allotted through the cap or counselling process.The institute may chose to allot these vacant seats either as management or on the basis of merit.You have to personally visit the institute and fill up an application form(either offline or online) in order to apply for such seats.
