what is ironic about the way the story of ends in deliverance
Hello,
In the story 'Deliverance', the author has depicted irony very productively. the Pandit: 'How godly a sight! ' But later on, it proved to be opposite to what Dukhi said because the readers would see that Dukhi had to suffer a lot at the house of the Pandit.
The ending of the novel Hoops is ironic because the very thing that set out as Lonnie's deliverance also ends up being Cal's destruction. There is also irony in the fact that basketball, which had once been such a singular focus for both men, later.
Thank you.
