What is jee advance 1 and jee advance 2
Each year, the Indian Institute of Technologies conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced), or JEE (Advanced) and this examination is held in two phases.
The two phases are called Paper 1 and Paper 2 respectively and each of them is held for a duration of three (3) hours, with total exam duration of 6 hours. So, these Paper 1 and paper 2 are the same thing which you have asked.
Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Hi Akshay,
JEE Advanced 1 is Paper I and JEE Advanced II is Paper II. If you want admission in any of the IITs, then it's mandatory for you to appear in both Paper I (JEE Advanced I) and Paper II (JEE Advanced 2). If you take only paper I or paper II, you will be considered ineligible for admissions. Only when to take both Paper I and paper II and qualify in JEE Advanced 2018, you will be considered for admissions.
