No your Advanced ranking cannot help you to upgrade as both the ranks that is mains and advanced ranks are separately published and there is no connection between them

Can you please clarify your doubt?
If you are appearing for JEE Advanced then you will get different rank it is not improvement test. JEE Advanced it is to get admission in IITs and JEE Main is for NITs and IIITs. Counselling will be common for all the colleges through JOSSA.
