What is main difference between B.tech and M.tech

The main difference between B.Tech and M.Tech is the level of study. B.Tech is an undergraduate course that you do after 12th grade, usually for 4 years, where you learn the basics of engineering. M.Tech is a postgraduate course done after B.Tech, usually for 2 years, where you study advanced and specialized topics in engineering. B.Tech helps you start your career, while M.Tech helps you become an expert and can lead to better jobs or research opportunities.

Btech is undergraduate program in engineering. After doing it you will become graduate.It takes 4 year for completion of degree. There are lots of stream for this course. Thereare lots of entrance exam like Jee advanced, jee mains , and many college have their own entrance.

Mtech is a course for gettting  post graduate degree in that particular field. It is more like of research oriented study. In Btech it make you a general and basic study. It is 2 year duration. The entrance exams are like- GATE.
