The maximum score in JEE Main depends on the paper:
-
Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech): 300 marks

Paper 2A (B.Arch): 400 marks
-
Paper 2B (B.Planning): 400 marks
Most students who ask about maximum marks are referring to Paper 1, which is out of 300.

Hello aspirant,
JEE Main Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) has a maximum score of 300 points. The maximum score for Paper 2 (B.Arch and B.Planning) is 400 points. All 75 questions in Paper 1 and all questions in Paper 2 must be successfully answered in order to reach this maximum.
