Counselling is nothing just a seat allotment process operated by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA). For admission to IITs, JOSAA is the only body that organises the seat allotment process or counselling for IITs on the basis of rank secured in JEE-Advance. JOSAA Counselling is scheduled after the declaration of result of JEE-Advance.
