There is differencebetween btech and btech hons. Like in cse if you do your btech then you have to study all the subjects related to your stream like data structure,web application,computer peripherals & interfaces,data communication etc.But in Btech(hons) you have to study one specific subject and it's components in depth You can choose your subject according to your area of interes

B.Tech Hons. is a 4 years Undergraduate degree course which is divided into 8 semesters. each semester spans for about 6 months. For taking admission into this course, the candidate needs to qualify Common Entrance Test.
B.Tech Hons. course mainly deals in the particularity aspect, which is unlike B.Tech, the candidates can choose a particular subject of their choice in the final year, to study each and every aspects of the subject in full depth. Just like in Graduation honors, the candidate studies only a single engineering subject in entire year.

Btech hons is a short form of Bachelor of technology with honours.
It is an undergraduate academic degree conferred after completion of a three-year, a four-year.
The syllabus is quite different that regular btech.
Some colleges offers extra subjects as electives or some specialization in some topic/subject.
