Hello,
It is the category under which you have applied for the entrance exam of IPU CET.Gen means GENERAL category and SC means Scheduled Caste category.

sc and gen means the student sith scheduled caste category will get the seat in good college with a littel higwer rank in colleges as compare to general category becasue some seats are resrved in every college for sc category students. and for general category students will get admission according to the normal ranks and marks. all the best
