Hello Tanmay!

Membrane biogenesis is the process of synthesizing plasma membrane or cell membrane using proteins and lipids.
The proteins for this process are provided by the Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum.
And the lipids are provided by the Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum.
