What is NDA exam and how we have to give and what we have submit

UPSC conducts NDA (National Defence Academy) exam for the admission to Navy, Air Force and Army. NDA/NA is conducted twice a year in April and September. NDA I is conducted in April while NDA 2 is held in September. To apply for NDA exam candidates must be 16.5 to 19.5 years of age and must be appearing or have passed class 12th.

The eligibile candidates can fill the application form online where they have to provide basic details, pay Rs. 100 as application fee through offline or online payment method. At the time of filling the application form, candidates will have to upload the scanned photograph ( 3 kb - 40 kb) and signature (1 kb to 40 kb). NDA is conducted by UPSC for the admission to Navy, Air Force and Army. The exam is conducted twice in a year, The exam is conducted in two stages – written and Service Selection Board (SSB) Interview.

Age limit

Candidates must be between 16.5 to 19.5 years.

Candidates applying for Army Wing of National Defence Academy should be 12th pass or 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination and Candidates applying Air Force and Naval Wings  of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at  the Indian Naval Academy must be 12th or equivalent examination  with Physics and Mathematics
