Dear Student,
Generally to do B.Tech, you have to give JEE Mains and JEE Advanced exams after your 12th class. If you get a very good rank in JEE Mains then you can get top institutes like NIT's, IIIT's, GFTI's etc. Here you can pursue your B.Tech degree. Also if you get a very good rank in JEE Advance, then you can choose IIT's for pursuing B.Tech degree. Doing B.Tech from IIT's is most preferred over all other institutions. So prepare for the JEE Advance well.
Apart from this , with your same JEE Mains score you can pursue your B.Tech from the State Govt. colleges. And also some private colleges take their own admission test to provide admissions in B.Tech course, so you can also try these.
Hope this helps.
