UGC NET exam is conducted by NTA. It's an exam for selection for junior research fellow and assistant professor posts. There are 2 papers one is Teaching/
Research Aptitude and other is core subject. So if you want to become assistant professor and want to join any college in teaching or if you want to do research you can write this. Syllabus depends upon which subject you have studied and which subject you want to continue as assistant professor you can choose that subject if it is available in their list.
