In a press conference held in New Delhi on 07 July 2018, Mr. Prakash Javadekar announced that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET) will be held by the National Testing Agency (NTA) , which is a newly formed entrance exams conducting agency.
