Doctor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D is a professional pre-Ph.D. postgraduate doctorate of six years introduced by the Government of India and Pharmacy Council of India in 2008.
The duration of this course is 3-6 years. The average fee for this course in Indian colleges is around Rs. 600,000 to Rs. 2,000,000. The famous job profiles after completing this course are Pharmacist, Chemist , Biochemist , and the average salary for this course is around INR 3.5 LPA to INR 10 LPA.
the eligibility criteria for this course are as follows:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with physics , chemistry , and biolog y/ maths as compulsory subjects.
Candidates must have graduated with a bachelor’s degree B. Pharm from a recognized university.
Candidates studying D. Pharm (diploma of pharmacy) are eligible for lateral entry to the program.
