Dear Ankit, there are 3 colleges which go by the name HIMS:
Hind Institute of Medical Sciences
Himayalan Institute of Medical Sciences
Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences
You havent mentioned which one you are enquuring about. Neverthless, Hind and Himalayan Institute are Private Medical Colleges of UP and Uttarakhand respectively. If you want admission in these colleges, you should have domicile of UP and Uttarakhand. This is because Private Medical colleges do not participate in All India Counselling amd for you to participate in State Counselling, you need to have domicile of that particular State. Now, Hassan Institute of Medical Sciences is a Government Medical College of Karnataka. If you want to apply through their State Quota with your marks, you can get a seat.
