What is provisional admission to a college? And should I register for it nefore all the phases of JEE MAIN are over??

See provisional admission is nothing but a temporary admission, suppose you are going to take admission on the basis of JEE-Main score and the JEE-Main result is not declared by the date but due to some short timelines admission has to be completed in the colleges, so there you will get provisional admission and when they receive the valid JEE-Main result then they convert your admission to Permanent admission and if you will not submit the JEE-main result or other valid and required documents then your admission would be cancelled.

Now if the colleges for which you are seeking admissions, are inviting the applications right now for admission then you should apply there because they also know that JEE-Main is not yet completed so they will also provide you an alternative like provisional admission or something else.
