what is purpose of ece and why ?

Electronics and communication engineering is an important branch of engineering courses.It deals with electronic gadgets working and analysis along with the basics and use of communication and networking.

It can combine with mechanical,computer and electrical engineering for many useful projects such as automation,sensor motors etc.

The scope of the branch is good in India.Many of the core companies like Sony erricson,Wipro, Panasonic etc.give recruitment to the aspirants.

ECE is one of the most popular branches in engineering and also job opportunities are increasing exponentially in ECE in both government and private sectors. ECE stands for Electronics and communication engineering. In ECE you study about the circuits which are allowing you and me to communicate over this platform(Internet). ECE is application based engineering so if you have a thing for circuits and curiosity about from where the computers and mobile devices are getting this ability to store and transfer data.

However, there is also a drawback in ECE engineering. Students pursuing ECE are not taught how to code which is like teaching how to make a sword but not teaching how to use it. But most of the students who are serious about their studies and who are aware of the that how good it'll be for them if they learn how to code, and those students learn to code.

Also. if you prepare for GATE then there are over 1000 vacancies coming up in ECE in next few years in PSUs like of ISRO. That also makes ECE one of the most sought after branch of engineering. However, the branch is not enough for a sucessful career in engineering. College also matters a lot, you must choose your college wisely.
