According to science, when each of the lines in which light may seem to stream from the sun or any luminous body or pass through a small opening then it is called Ray.

I would like to inform you that the word"ray" means a line of light,heat or energy in scientific term or science. For an example- A ray of sunlight.
And the word "ray" in math defined as the part of the line which starts at a point and goes off in direction to infinity.
