    hey navya,

    the process when chemoheterotrophic extracellular digestion get involved in the processing of dead or waste or decayed organic matter. it is also known as lysotrophic nutrition, this mainly occurs in saprotrophs and heterotrophs and it is associated with fungi and soil bacteria like mucor.
