what is spot round 2020 ? how is it?

Spot round actually comes after the last round of the seat allotment process. It gets into action if there are any VACANCIES in jee main seats. All candidates eligible for central counselling, except those who have been admitted to an institute are eligible for registering in Spot Round
Fresh Choice filling against the vacancies is mandatory for spot round.
How is it conducted?

• Those candidates were unable to register themselves for the JoSAA, there is the spot round facility is provided for those candidates.
• When the seats will remain vacant after the completion of all the rounds of counseling at IIITs, IITs, NITs, GFTIS and ISM Dhanbad, then spot round held for candidates
• The list of availability of the seats for the spot round will be displayed after the final round of counseling.
• Candidates can view the cutoff after the completion of round 3
• The candidates have to make the payment for the JoSAA Spot Round
• the seat allocation is like first come first serve basis.
• Getting a seat in spot round is not guaranteed
