As per Himachal Pradesh State quota, you are eligible for 85% state quota in government colleges if your parents are bonafide Himachalis, and you have passed your at least two exams (from class 8th to 12 ) from  a  school located in the state Himachal Pradesh from any recognised board.

So just passing your class 11th and 12th from Himachal Pradesh is not enough for making you eligible for state quota in Himachal Pradesh but yes s tudents whose parent/s are not bonafide Himachalis can be still eligible for state quota provided  , provided his or her parent/s are  employees of the Central Govt./ State Govt. of Himachal/ Judiciary, and meet following criteria

• a) The parent/s should be employed  for at least 2 years with the govt.
• (b) The student must have  passed 10+2 or equivalent  in Himachal.
