What is study grant that they provide in lpunest for iit/nit aspirants I don't get it can anyone explain me about it

LPUNEST ( National Entrance & Scholership test) is conducted to get the Study Grant, which amount varies to the programme for the students to study at IITs/ NITs/ IIMs/ NLUs/ IHMs/ NIDs/ IITs (IDC/DoD)/ IIITDM/ NIFTs. To qualify LPUNEST is compulsory for the students to get this benefit.
This test is conducted in two schedule-
Schedule I: 21st January to 05th February 2019
Schedule II: 05th April to 30th April 2019

Then, if we score very well in the LPUNEST and did not qualify for the JEE advanced examination, we shall be getting admission into an IIT or NIT with a study grant ?OrIs the study grant for the students who have already enrolled in any IIT or NIT ?
