what is syllabus and marks system ??

I did not understand exactly what you intend to ask like exam pattern of any specialised entrance exam . If it is so , you need to specify it seperately.

Otherwise in general , A syllabus is prescibed topics which you need to learn in your class or for your exam whether it is school or competitive. Then after you complete your syllabus you are being tested via an exam which is taken from the syllabus and you are given marks according to accountability and conceptual knowledge of the syllabus.
