What is syllabus for NDA for biology student?

The syllabus for the candidates appearing for any stream is the same as others. Candidates will have appear for Mathematics as well as General Ability Test (GAT). The detailed syllabus of NDA 2019 is given below.

NDA Mathematics Syllabus

• Algebra -Representation of real numbers on a line, Complex numbers—basic properties, modulus, argument, cube roots of unity, Binary system of numbers etc.
• Matrices and Determinant - Types of matrices, operations on matrices, Determinant of a matrix, basic properties of determinants.
• Trigonometry - Angles and their measures in degrees and in radians, Trigonometrical ratios.

NDA GAT Syllabus

• Physics- Physical Properties and States of Matter, Mass, Weight, Volume, Density, and Specific Gravity, Principle of Archimedes, Pressure Barometer, etc.
• Chemistry-Physical and Chemical changes, Elements, Mixtures and Compounds, Symbols, Formulae and simple Chemical Equations, Law of Chemical Combination (excluding problems), etc.
• General Science- Difference between living and non-living, the basis of Life – Cells, Protoplasms, and Tissues, Growth and Reproduction in Plants and Animals, etc.
• Geography-Earth: Its shape and size, Latitudes and Longitudes, Concept of time, International Date Line, etc.

The syllabus for NDA is same for students of every stream.

The NDA exam ia divided into two papers – Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT).

The Maths paper will include testing your knowledge of 12th level maths. And the General Ability includes topics like English language, Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Social Studies, Geography and Current Affairs.
