For Btech first year student, courses are inter-disciplinery means you have to study some part of all the branches in first year like you have to study some basics of electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, and ofcourse of automobile engineering to.
From second year onward, you will study about a particular branch that you have chosen.
