What is the admission criteria?
Hi Priyanshu,
I believe you are enquiring about postgraduation management programmes as undergraduate management programmes (like BBA, BMS etc.) have different eligibility criteria.
For postgraduation in management like MBA or PGDM, you need to have completed any Undergraduate degree. It can be of Engineering/Science/Commerce/Education-Teaching streams etc.
This is the ONLY universal requirement for any MBA program in India.
Apart from this, each of the Universities have their own additional criteria and it varies from one Institution to the another. Some of them require Work experience, Minimum Undergrad CGPA, Age Limit etc.
Most reputed B-schools have a certain minimum mark or percentage which candidates must secure in their graduation school. For example the IIMs require you to secure a minimum of 50% in graduation. Some colleges even have an age bar. Also, final year students awaiting results are eligible to apply. To get admission in a good B-school, you will have to appear for entrance exams and secure a certain minimum percentile to be eligible for further selection processes. Here are the top management exams in India:
CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/SNAP/GMAT/ATMA
Appearing for entrance exams is the first step towards admission process. Good luck!
