As per the new rules, government colleges mostly having 25k/ year and if you have fee reimbursement it might be reduced to half and even you can study free. It's all about knowledge of yours, the less rank you get, the more choices you have.

In NITs fees is rs.125000 for general candidates.
If you are from economically weaker section then your total fees can be waved off.

it is less in iit , nits and govt. college it depends on the campus because govt. colleges fees also vary.
iits have gone to supreme Court for keeping their fees 300000 but court ordered them to keep their fees 200000
