What is the based on gate score calculated?

Hello aspirant,
GATE is being conducted foe 24 papers out of which some paper will be held in multiple sessions according to the number of candidates for it.
The process of GATE normalisation will be different for single session and multiple session papers.The raw marks of single session gate papers will be held for computing the scores,where as the actual marks of multiple session will be normalized and will be used to compute GATE scores
