Hello dear aspirant,
Earler the results of 12th board used to affect overall rank of any candidate in jee nad neet but now things have changed and your rank in jee will totally depend upon your performance in the examination.However for admission in iit,nit or any government college for that regard you rquire to fill criteria of percentage in boards which is 75%.

Hello student the benefits of cbse +2 results is that all reputed college take admission on the result of entrance exam jee /neet but to appearing in jee/neet candidates neet to clear class 12exam with atleast 75%marks for jee and 50%marks for neet. So it's all relatable. You can't appear in any entrance exam without clearing class 12 exam
