Exams are categorized under flying Branch , Ground Duty (Technical) ,and Ground Duty (Non- Technical)

Eligibility to join Indian Airforce Under NDA:

Age: Candidates willing to join the National Defense Academy must be between the age of 16 and 19 at the time of commencement of the course.

Nationality: Indian

Gender: Only men

Qualification: Must complete 10 + 2 with Physics and Mathematics. Final-year students are also eligible to apply

Eligibility to Join Indian Air Force Under AFCAT :

Age: Candidates aspiring to join the Air force through AFCAT exams must be between the age of 20 to 24 years.

Nationality: Indian

Marital status: Single.

Qualification: Must be a graduate from a recognized institution with at least 60% marks or a similar degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. Final year students are also eligible to apply for the exams

Those who have cleared section A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers or Aeronautical Society of India can also apply

Eligibility to Join Air Force under NCC:

Age: Candidates must be between the age of 20 to 24.

Nationality: Indian

Marital status: Single

Qualification: Candidates must have a minimum of 50% in 10+2 with maths and physics. Candidates also must be a graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks/Four-year course in BE or BTech with minimum 60% marks/cleared A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institute Engineers or Aeronautical Society of India. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply

Eligibility criteria for CDSE :

Age: Must be between the age of 19 and 24 years.

Nationality: Indian

Marital status: Single

Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate with mathematics and physics.

The final year and selected students are also eligible to apply provided they have a degree certificate issued by the University.

There is no percentage bar for the CDSE level

If you want to go into Air Force then very simple process I am going to tell you about National Defence Academy(NDA) examination which is conducted by UPSC every year. This examination is conducted every year 2 times and after qualifying examination you will be calling out for PABT and if you qualified it then you have to appear for SSB interview.

If you clear the processes then you will be having 3 years of training at AFA and after that you will be commissioned as an officer in the Air Force.

But lastly let me tell you that these are not very easy as simple as the process is looking, it's very hard to crack and you have to must devote your full concentration and time into it then only you will be able to crack this examination along with the interview.

Look there is no direct and easy way to join Indian Air Force after completing 12th class. You have to work very hard in clearing Indian Air Force examination which is held for 2 times in a year. In one round there are two stages held and you have to clear both for becoming Indian Air Force member. These two stages are written test and Service Selection Board interview.

Your age criteria is also considered. Your age must be from 15.5 to 18.5 at the time of filling the Indian airforce application form. Other than this the education qualification is also considered which you have.
