The best way to prepare for any examination, is to make a proper study schedule which you'll follow throughout your preparation. Then go through the entire syllabus and start preparing for the examination. Multiple choice type questions can be asked from any line of a chapter. So it is advisable to study thoroughly line by line and wherever you think its important, then mark the line or highlight it. MCQs have one advantage that just ticking the right answer you can get full marks. Solve practice sets which are available in the last of every chapters. You haven't mentioned the exam name you're enquiring for. Once done with the syllabus, you can go for solving previous year exam papers. Give mock tests. Make your own MCQ type questions and then solve it. Also many exams have negative marking for wrong response. So you have to be careful while answering a MCQ. This can be called an disadvantage of MCQ. If you are not sure about your answer, then you should skip that question. Once you complete all the questions, you can check the questions that you have skipped before, analyze them and if you are not sure, then its better to leave.
